Hey there, I’m Amber, living it up in the Sunshine State of Florida with my amazing hubby and some of our kiddos. We don’t have many left at home, but we have a few left to raise. Earlier this year, we took a leap of faith and changed our lives completely. We packed all our belongings in Ohio, drove 18 hours, and made Florida our new forever home. And let me tell you, it was the best decision we ever made! Florida has captured our hearts, and we don’t see ourselves living anywhere else.
Now, let me give you a quick backstory on how all of this happened. My hubby and I are a happily blended family with seven kiddos. And get this, we met each other during the pandemic! Fate led us to each other at a public pool with our kids, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. During the pandemic, my hubby took me on a trip to Key West, which was my first time in Florida, my first time flying, and my first time taking a trip without my kids. And let me tell you, it was perfect! As soon as I stepped off the plane in Key West, I knew Florida was where I belonged.
Fast forward a bit, we got married, sold our homes, got rid of like 50 percent of our belongings and moved to Florida to start a new chapter together. Both of us had our own reasons for wanting a fresh start and were in the process of healing from past traumas. We knew that a new journey in a new place was what our souls needed, and we’re grateful we took that leap of faith. We are now in our RV a lot and just enjoying the peace that our new life brings us.
